The Shoulders of Giants
Tears of Wax

A thousand lighted candles

cried tears of wax

the most somber happy birthday

I have ever heard

the wind changed, the first day that you came through
cut the corn, washed it clean
now everything thats ever gone before, is just a blur
it’s all because of you
and now i find, this cities like a stranger to me
i once was fooled by cadillacs and honey
but no one feels like you
And If My Heart Should Somehow Stop- James Vincent McMorrow
So avoid using the word ‘very’ because it is lazy. A man is not very tired, he is exhausted. Don’t use very sad, use morose. Language was invented for one reason, boys - to woo women - and, in that endeavor, laziness will not do. It also won’t do in your essays.
